Single hydraulic props are divided into external liquid supply type (referred to as external injection type) and internal liquid supply type (referred to as internal injection type) according to their different liquid supply methods. According to different working strokes, the struts are divided into single telescopic (single stroke) struts and double telescopic (double stroke) struts. 1. Piston-type single hydraulic prop
(1) Internal injection unit hydraulic pressure column
The inner-injection type single hydraulic prop relies on the internal liquid circulation of the prop to support the top plate under the action of manpower. It is mainly composed of top cover, breather valve, safety valve, live cylinder, oil cylinder block, strut piston, crank slider mechanism and other parts.
The internal injection type single hydraulic prop includes three processes of lifting the column and supporting it, loading, and unloading the column. However, due to the complex structure of the pillars, high maintenance and repair costs, high labor intensity, and high production costs, the usage is gradually decreasing.

(2) External injection type single hydraulic prop
The external injection type single hydraulic prop is used to support the roof under the action of the pressure liquid provided by the emulsion pump station on the working face.
The external injection type single hydraulic prop structure is mainly composed of top cover, extension section, arc welding seam, three-purpose valve, column head, arc welding seam, handle body, movable column, oil cylinder, return spring, piston, base and so on.
2. Suspended single hydraulic prop
The suspended single hydraulic prop is a new type of external injection single hydraulic prop developed at the end of the 20th century. The structure of column head and no piston has the characteristics of large working stroke, wide range of use, strong anti-eccentric load capacity, safe and reliable use, etc., and has obtained good application results in production practice. Suspended single hydraulic props are divided into two categories: single telescopic and double telescopic props.
(1) Single telescopic suspension single hydraulic prop
The single telescopic suspension single hydraulic prop structure is mainly composed of top cover, suspension cover, movable column, handle valve body, oil cylinder, return spring, base, three-purpose valve and other components. Including the process of lifting the column and initial support, loading, unloading and returning to the column, the control of the column is completed by the three-purpose valve.
(2) Double telescopic suspension single hydraulic prop
Double telescopic suspension single hydraulic prop is mainly composed of top cover, suspension cover, movable column, sleeve cylinder, handle valve body, oil cylinder, middle cylinder, return spring, base, three-purpose valve and other components.
